Swiss Tennis is the official tennis association of Switzerland and is responsible for all competitions and players in the country. Since 1896, the association, which has more than 150,000 active members, currently oversees approximately 50,000 licensed players across 19 regional associations. Swiss Tennis acts as a promoter and service provider for tennis in Switzerland, from grassroots to elite level, and serves as a competent contact for all tennis-related matters. A central focus is on the further development of the sport and communication with the Swiss tennis community.

Problem.

The joint project focused on the association's anniversary campaign, which aimed to motivate as many existing and new tennis enthusiasts in Switzerland to join clubs as members. In this context, we were tasked with advising the association on its online marketing strategy while also providing operational support in the implementation.

Solution.

As part of the campaign management, we initially supported the design of the landing page and, through our graphic team, discussed various advertising material variations with the association's marketing team. In terms of campaign management, we relied on a mix of search network ads and accompanying remarketing measures.

Result.

The results of the campaign became apparent very quickly. The membership quota allocated by the association was fully utilized in a short period of time. The budget was used very efficiently, and the membership goal was exceeded by several hundred percent by the end of the campaign.
